The stage of data collection uses library research. The method used in the research is qualitative methods. Humans can’t be separated from the process of interaction between individuals with each other in everyday life. This research is motivated by problems regarding human behavior. Dilan is a motorcycle gang boy who has a simple, romantic personality and has a high spirit of solidarity. The writing of this thesis analyzes a literary work namely the trilogy novel Dilan 1990, Dilan 1991, and Milea which tells about the love story of high school teenagers in the year of nine tens in the city of Bandung. Novel as a literary work is a picture of a life that is fictional, but the entire contents of the novel still refer to reality in the real world.
